DMCA Policy

MLB Crew respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects its users to do the same. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act of 1998 (DMCA), the text of which may be found on the U.S. Copyright Office website at copyright.gov, we will respond expeditiously to claims of copyright infringement.

1. Reporting Copyright Infringement

If you are a copyright owner, or are authorized to act on behalf of one, please report alleged copyright infringements taking place on or through our Site by completing a DMCA Notice of Alleged Infringement and delivering it to our Designated Copyright Agent.

To be effective, the notification must include the following:

  1. Identification of the copyrighted work that you claim has been infringed.
  2. Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing (including the URL or a specific description of where the material is located on the Site).
  3. Your contact information: Name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
  4. A statement of good faith belief: A statement that you have a good faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  5. A statement of accuracy: A statement that the information in the notification is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.
  6. Your physical or electronic signature.

3. Our Response Process

Upon receipt of a valid DMCA notice, MLB Crew will:

  • Remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing material.
  • Notify the user who posted the material that it has been removed or disabled.
  • In appropriate circumstances, terminate the accounts of repeat infringers in accordance with our internal policies.

4. Counter-Notification

If you believe that your material was removed by mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notification to our Copyright Agent. Your counter-notification must include:

  1. Identification of the material that has been removed and the location where it appeared before removal.
  2. A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.
  3. Your name, address, and telephone number.
  4. A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for the judicial district in which your address is located (or New York, if your address is outside the U.S.), and that you will accept service of process from the person who provided the original infringement notification.
  5. Your physical or electronic signature.
